Jasmine is nine years old when she is sent to live in a residential children’s center. There she meets Brandon, a new therapist. Their shared love of comic books and superheroes provides the tools Jasmine needs to come to grips with her feelings of separation and abandonment.
This new work by FYT Playwright-in-Residence, Andrew Morton, presents two stories at once – Jasmine and her day-to-day struggles; and Justice Jasmine, fierce protector of the downtrodden, all while exploring the nature of heroes and villains, good and evil, and how the differences between them are not always black and white.
